TRANSILVANIA FOREST PRODUCTION is a 100% Romanian production company that started its activity in autumn 2012.
Situated in an exceptional natural setting, right in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains, in the town of Bistra, Alba County, where woodworking and shaping was a basic occupation of the inhabitants of these lands since ancient times. The initial activity was the valorization of raw wood into finished products such as beams, timber, panelling.
Out of passion for wood and openness to new challenges that stimulate our creativity we have continued our development towards the creation of solid wood furniture – pine, spruce. We also value every piece of wood recovered from old houses, demolished buildings creating unique products with a great emotional charge and authenticity.

TRANSILVANIA FOREST PRODUCTION creates and re-designs solid wood furniture in the spirit of respect for customer requirements and current trends.
Our priority is to understand the customer’s needs and surprise them with quality products and great design. Every creation of 
is a testimony to the love for well done work, responsibility for the environment and respect for the customer.
Carefully selected raw materials, the use of modern techniques, combined with traditional processing methods give the furniture the warmth and romantic spirit of “yesteryear“.
Design
Whether one prefers the authenticity and warmth of solid wood furniture in a mountain cabin, the charm and sweetness of antique-look painted wood or the robustness of rustic furniture, the customer has the opportunity to choose furniture according to his needs.
Modern techniques of softwood finishing, starting from surface preparation – imitation of insect holes, brushing by removing softwood from the surface, artificial wear, finishing of old and reused wood, etc. – up to the actual finishing, lead customers to say very often the word “something else.
